Strangers in the Night

The moon will be up very soon, he thought. Being the new kid in town, David was fortunate enough to live near a forest in which he could hide in during the nights of his Change. And it would be new surroundings to run and play in. He had tried so hard to hide his werewolf self ever since he was thirteen. Moving into this new place, David was uncertain if he could keep his secret safe and secure. But fortune always favored him, he thought, and the woods was a perfect spot to allow animal instinct to take over for the time being.

The sun's already setting, she thought, and another full moon would burn at her skin and unleash the beast within her. Jennifer had become so tired of the curse that she was afflicted with ever since she was eight. Sure, she had always found that her animal side was a change of pace for three nights a month, but living in this town her whole life had made the routine so...common. She couldn't even hold a relationship with the boys she dated, for fear that she would be found out. If only she found someone that understood.

The moon was beautiful, bright and round, and David welcomed it as he stripped himself of his clothing before he took on his new form. As he lifted his shirt, dark brown fur covered his chest in waves, as the Change spread throughout his body. He grew a foot in height as muscles rippled throughout his body before they became covered in his fur. He crouched down on all fours as he assumed his full-wolf form. David will want his hybrid form later.

Fur as black as night covered Jennifer's breasts and nipples, which became stiff as the transformation progressed. Sharp canines peeked out from under her dark lips, and a snout extended outward from her face, as her eyes developed a bright yellow. She leaned forward and a tail sprang out of her body and quickly grew black fur. When she could no longer stand upright, she lifted her head and let out a great howl. Time to hunt, she thought.

When he was younger, when he was just exploring the concept of being a werewolf, David was concerned about going crazy and killing small, defenseless creatures simply for the joy of killing. But he soon found out that this was not true, and he was in complete control of his faculties. And David reasoned with himself that, as a wolf, he will often have a burning hunger for food, which took the form of rabbit, deer, or any other peaceful animals of the forest. It is all part of the cycle of life, David justified, and so was the hunt. So what if a rabbit was killed for food if it was necessary? As a predator who has just drained all of his energy for the transformation, he needed that food.
And that's exactly what he thought when he attacked a relatively large rabbit and swiftly dug his claws into the animal to kill it. Dinnertime was here as David picked at the meat of the dead creature.

That's odd, Jennifer sensed, there's another predator here. She picked up the strong scent of a dead rabbit from not very far, along with the scent of an animal that she had never sensed before. All her life, she had never found a wolf in the forest. But sure enough, it was here. Jennifer quickly picked up the trail of the scent and followed it. A quick journey in one direction led her to a wolf which was picking on a rabbit.

Oh great, David said to himself, another wolf. I hope I don't have to fight it for my dinner. But something was different with this wolf--female, he guessed--and he couldn't put his finger (or his paw for that matter) on what. She seemed peaceful enough, so he offered to share his dinner with her by pawing a piece of the rabbit in her direction.

Jennifer was not a scholar on animal behavior, even if it was the behavior of animals of the same kind as her. But she never guessed that wolves were generous enough to share their meal with others. Don't ask questions, she figured, you're hungry anyways. This transformation was more draining than others, so she needed the energy anyways. This wolf, who she guessed to be male, had a gentle face, not to mentioned that he was a good scent, so she felt invited to share the rabbit with him.

Her scent was sweet. David felt the initial attraction as this wolf dug her teeth into the food. It's just animal instinct, he assumed. When the rabbit was completely eaten away, he made her follow him across the forest.

Jennifer had never seen a wolf before, so she was intrigued by this new one and followed him, wherever he was going. Maybe his hiding place, maybe a place where other wolves gathered. This was, in fact, a large forest. She found out that where he was taking her to was the top of a hill that oversaw the woods.

He figured this was a nice spot to rest for a part of the night. To pass the time and watch the moon peak in the nighttime sky. When he reached the top of the hill, David could see the woods below him. It was beautiful, he said to himself, and it's all mine. When the female caught up, he stood next to her and howled to the moon. To his amazement, she took to singing to the moon as well.

Must be some ritual for this one, Jennifer thought. It was fun to let loose a howl that penetrated the air. Oddly enough, she had found a friend tonight, and--eh? What was going on?

David decided to shift to his hybrid form. The thick patches of brown fur throughout his body drew back into his skin until a fine coat of short brown hair covered his skin. His snout withdrew into his face until only a pointed black-nose remained to peak over a patch of short fur that covered his cheeks and the rest of his face. As the fur grew shorter, he could see the muscles on his chest press from within his skin. Perhaps the only thing that stayed constant was his furry sheath between his legs. It held his penis, which had become heavy within his sheath from the animal attraction he felt with this new companion of his. When he was fully half-human, half-wolf, he crossed his legs Indian-style and sat on the cool patch of grass below him. David wanted to wrap his furred arm around the female wolf, but she drew away. He figured it was natural because now she had seen him as a different creature, but--what?

This...creature is a werewolf? Jennifer couldn't believe it! She was shocked as she was overjoyed, but she was also confused. Very confused. Instinctively, she shifted into her own hybrid form. The fur on her head grew longer into a sort of mane as the fur throughout her body grew shorter. She grew shorter than she was as a full werewolf, but taller than she would have been in human form. Her fingers returned to their normal length, and her pointy ears returned to the appropriate area on her head. Her fur became short, but long enough to cover her breasts, which became more visible and obvious to her new playmate.
As soon as the change completed, she spoke with her returned human vocal chords, "Who are you?"
"Who are you?" he said. His voice was soft, but demanding, which was understandable, considering he was also shocked to find another werewolf.
"Jennifer," she said shyly.
"David. This must be your territory."
"It is. You must be new. There are no other wolves in this forest."

David had many things to say, but he let out a great laugh.
"What's so funny?" Jennifer asked.
"This is so...awkward!" David exclaimed, "I've never found another werewolf before! I mean, except the one that bit me, but never like this!"
"Me neither," Jennifer caught on and laughed as well, "It's so nice to meet another!"
He stood up, "C'mon, I have so many things to say. Let's take a walk."

"They never did find out who attacked me that night," David said, "But a month later, when the moon was full, I was in my bedroom when I turned into a werewolf for the first time."
"It must've been frightening," Jennifer replied.
"It was. But my parents never found out, even though I was crying out in pain from that burning sensation."
"Yeah, I get that too. I never seemed to get over that."
David stopped in his tracks, flashing his sharp teeth as he smiled, "What about you? How'd you become a werewolf?"
Jennifer stroked the hair on her face as she recalled, "I was eight. I fell from a spot not far from here during a camping trip in the night. Both of my legs were broken, so I couldn't move. I started to cry, and then he came."
"He...?"
"A huge wolf. He dragged me to my parents, but along the way he bit me on the arm. When my father took me to the doctor the next day, all of wounds were gone. Not even a scar. I didn't know why until--"
"Until you Changed."
"Yeah. And since then I've been hiding out here during the full moon. Strange enough, I never saw the werewolf who bit me ever again."
"Must get lonely sometimes."
There was a long silence after he said that. Then he said, "Come on. Let's go hunt."

They killed a deer that was of age. First Jennifer ambushed the creature by jumping off the branch of a tree, then David leapt towards the deer as they both clawed it to death. David started a fire once the deed was done, deciding to cook it.
"Hey, David," Jennifer said after her fangs tore a part of its flesh, "You ever feel guilty? I mean, after killing some of these animals?"
"Well, at first I did. But it's all part of the cycle of nature, I thought. Food chain stuff. And we do it because we have to. We can't fight our hungers, we can only feed them."
"That's true," she said, "You're so understanding."
"Hey, I'm a werewolf. We know these things."
She laughed. David was puzzled, "What?"
"You know, David...I never thought I'd meet anyone like me. It's...just so cool that you're here." It was then that Jennifer leaned forward and kissed David.
David was flattered, "Gee, thanks." But he knew there was more. Slowly, he returned the kiss with another, this time by locking lips with Jennifer. They held each other for a long moment, with fur brushing against each other's faces.
Suddenly he pulled away, "Ow! You bit me!"
Sure enough, Jennifer he pierced his tongue with her sharp teeth. Traces of red stained her lips. She wiped her lips and examined his blood just before licking it. It tasted sweet. "Mmm, I like it."
As the wound on his tongue closed, David leapt towards Jennifer, saying, "Come here, you animal!" He tackled her to the ground and kissed her again, this time more aggressively and passionately, his arousal matched with hers. They moved as one, squirming up to a tree as he leaned her against the bark of the tree. Jennifer then went to licking his face as if he was dessert.
"Oh, you have a sweet scent," she said before looking down. She watched as David's furry sheath opened, revealing his penis which had become so hot and heavy during the arousal. Jennifer's eyes widened with amazement at its' length and thickness. "I have to tell you one thing..." she managed to utter.
"What's that?" David asked as he kissed her shoulder and neck.
"This is my first time."
David smiled, "So is mine."
Once again the two werewolves rolled across the patch of grass, with David inserting his organ into Jennifer, doing simply what is natural. The base of his organ began to swell and began to force its way into Jennifer's body. She was in orgasm, and her cries were wolf-like. Instinctively, she dug her claws into David's furred back as he coated her furred breasts with his saliva.
In an instant, the knot in David's penis penetrated Jennifer, and Jennifer, in response, howled with great joy. David joined in and together they made a beautiful tune. They lay locked together for two hours long after the fire died down.

They did many other things together that night, like racing with swiftness and speed through the forest, and singing without any inhibitions to the moon. But like all things, the night was coming to an end, and the moon was about to set. They sat next to each other on the hill that oversaw the entire forest. There, they watched the moon as it dipped into the horizon.
"It's beautiful," Jennifer said.
"Yes, it is," David said.
And when they were out of the reach of the moon's light, David and Jennifer began to change back. Slowly, David's brown fur and Jennifer's black fur disappeared and left skin exposed to the open air. Their claws turned back into fingernails, their sharp teeth shortening back to their usual length. David's canine sheath was gone, leaving his organ exposed and fully erect. Jennifer's breasts were stripped of all fur, but she made no effort to hide them from her new lover.
"You're very handsome," Jennifer said as the last of her werewolf features disappeared.
"You're very beautiful," David said.

By the time the sun was past the horizon, David and Jennifer found their clothing, abandoned by them during the Change. In the end, they had to part before their parents found out they had been gone for the entire night.
David touched Jennifer's bare cheek, saying, "Long time before the next full moon."
"Well," Jennifer said, "We don't have to wait. I know a great ice cream place not far from here, we can go there later today."
And so began a long relationship between two werewolves. They immediately began dating after that night, and always met in the forest during the nights of the full moon, which was always the highest points of this relationship. What's more, their nights in the forest were just as exciting as their first time, when they were merely strangers in the night.
