Hmm, that's a good question. If there were some effect along those lines, I think it'd be a more subtle "pleasant buzz from being around her" thing than your cartoon love-potion "oh my God everybody's going mushy and weak-kneed" deal. As for Ben, though, I'd think finding out your best friend has been a girl for two weeks and you didn't even know would be more than enough to throw you off your stride ;)
