That's the only question I have left now. No, wait, here's one more:

What happened to the stone in the new reality? There are no more Madisons, so did anyone inherit it from Jon's grandfather?

In theory, someone who noticed the rewriting of reality could ask the stone what was going on in the moments before their transformation erased their memories of their old identity and could then wish to remain the same -- which could backfire and leave them in a permanent transitional state -- even including an inability to change their clothes?

I hope that the (new) identity of the stranger approaching Nadine makes it clear what Nadine was referring to when she said, "Look what you made me do."

I love the freeform transformations possible in this universe. So far nobody seems immune. Immunity is usually a source of conflict (e.g., old self vs. new self) in a story like this, but it's still possible to have conflicts in this story: e.g., among members of Linda's band or between Laura and Nadine. The transformations are creating new dramatic situations.
