Idea for a funny scene...Episode submitted by The_Weirdo on Sun Oct 16 21:48:58 2011 Return to Parent Episode So Perkins just found his wife. He IS a fundamentalist, and these people tend to think a bit... oddly, especially in regards to chance and the order of events (post hoc, ergo propter hoc and so on). So he could think as follows: "Lucas gives him a tongue-lashing and threatens him. He must tell others. He needs to charge his phone. Ergo he needs to go to the plaza place to charge it. He found his wife. Lucas was an angel sent by God. God gave him back his wife through Lucas and Robert. Ergo, Lucas was sent by God to help him find his wife and set him on the right path through a trick ('she knew how I would react'), and Robert was sent by God to show that the devil-changed are good, etc." Cue him walking up to Lucas, who prepares to apologize more-or-less and to try to explain to him in nicer terms that he shouldn't prejudge people like this... ...only to have him, Perkins, thanking her, Lucas, for being sent by God to help him find his wife. Lucas will then try to explain that that's not the case, but he won't listen. He'll leave a VERY confused (and slightly annoyed-but-what-the-hey at being called a servant of God AGAIN) Lucas and basically be one of the "former" protesters enjoying the barbecue with his wife...
