I don't want to go around putting the kibosh on things, but the thing that she removed from Tiffany was not a person. I'm not even sure it was an intelligent being; it acted more like a sort of parasite or virus, and didn't seem to be directing her actions so much as just enabling and encouraging her worst traits and eroding everything else about her personality. Thus, I don't think at all that it could be classified as murder.

The_Weirdo's idea of there being some reprisal by the forces that corrupted Tiffany in the first place might work, though.
