Uhm... There were two ideas I was proposing. Not mutually exclusive, but quite different. One had the pastor have planned a whole attack thing on the side to damage the rep of the devil-changed. The other had - basically - the "devil-changed" side challenging the pastor to a debate. Neither Robert nor Maxwell would incite violence; the debate with the pastor would basically make said pastor sound like an idiot in the media (though Maxwell himself might see it in quite a gentler way). Of course, nigh anyone could do it, but, seeing as Maxwell is not only the wisest of the people around, but also the most collected and most knowledgeable on the Bible the pastor claims to know about, he'd do the honors.
