I think while it could be taken that way, I think that would be an exaggeration of Sorrow's abilities. Her suggestions, while influential, are hardly supernatural, and it seems the reason she's affecting people so much in Lake Point is because they are already altered. To say she did this to four other people as dramatically as she did to Alana seems quite unlikely, especially given that most of them seem very strong willed.
