Well...Episode submitted by The_Weirdo on Thu Oct 27 15:07:54 2011 Return to Parent Episode 1- I apologize for any inconvenience. Really. I'm not a perfect writer (and I won't take issue with anyone ready to argue I'm not a good writer either), and, if I made this difficult, I apologize. I also apologize if I depressed anyone in any way over this, though I am a bit surprised that my writing is so bad it saddens people. :p 2- I, for one, favor closing the "demonstration" arc, but leaving the characters. Nothingsp has plans for this as well, so I think we should at the very least see where he takes it. I'd love to see where he goes with Edward. Lucas will be around with other touches and so on - only, now that this isn't her issue anymore (maybe with the exception of interacting with Edward Duke before whatever Nothingsp plans befall him), she won't be half as ready to use her powers (which are still quite tinier than those of powerhouses Sam Pitchford and Mary, the teacher, for instance) in violent ways - or even to care enough to play 'vigilante'. She will still help people in binds, it's just she won't meet many people in binds to help. 3- If you want, I can add, later, a "there's always someone stronger" lesson for Lucas. I admit that I don't see some things you see as "natural consequences" as such natural, unavoidable consequences. I'm not attacking you or anything over this; it's just a difference of opinions about what would constitute "natural" and "consequences". 4- I don't see why Robert would be unusable. At all. Really. 5- Rachel and David are still at the party, one would think. Any issues they had with Robert might have been solved, one also would think. 6- I see the whole "racism" thing as a "natural consequence", as you put it. My thought goes: If priests are attacking a given group, then there are splinter groups that will strike at them. And once said priest becomes what they attack, well, they would meet the prejudice of those that are/were as prejudiced as them. And so on. The initial attack of the Purifiers wasn't added by me, but I, for one, thought it would fit. 7- That said, we can easily close the arc by finishing the party proper. The characters in the aftermath are now usable for other purposes in the story, and, really, with the possible exception of one (Edward Duke), no one came out of it with that horrible a loss. 8- Again, I apologize if I offended, saddened, irked or otherwise hurt you. er Eh... | |
