I think it WAS a coincidence, but became such a nice fit after you pointed it out! I really don't think you'd be stepping on anyone's toes with a water stone/water creature match-up at all. :)

I, for one, have no plans for other stones - I'm usually content to mess with my own characters and have they interact with the environment. But I can't speak for everyone. Still, that idea of yours was GOOD. :)
