Jeepers no... and if it did, Shi would intervene absolutely. :)

It's more to do with consoles connected to the internet, and digital fairies knocking a few things over as they experiment with their new world... they can flee a system before it crashes, as was demonstrated earlier in the arcades. (time works differently in a shut down from their perspective in my opinion)
