That 50 MT bomb would destroy - basically - the entire area of Paris. So, the reaction, assuming they don't weigh a lot, would destroy TWENTY FIVE TIMES the area of Paris, which is about 105.4 km2. So it'd be about 2635 km2 of destruction. This is most of Rhode Island AND Delaware put together by land area (which, granted, isn't too impressive in terms of state size), for a possible population (assuming - again - RI and DE) of about 1.5 million people, if we don't account for density differences. And that's only the FULLY DESTROYED area; the area with heavy damage/heavy loss of life would be about double that, not to mention other possible effects such as ecological damage and so on. So, yeah. It would be BIG.
