And sure, he couldn't foresee the nastier things, but... I don't know. I may be a bit too focused on civil rights and so on. It may be, in short, that I see this hair thing as a more heinous "crime" than it is/than you folks do. I don't mean to have "fate" or anything lock up the good scientist and throw away the key or change him into a guineapig-woman or something, but I'd not mind Muriel going "You did WHAT???" on him, even for only one chapter. She could even not sue/arrest/whatever him on account of Lilly and her kid being friends, but at least some dressing-down would be nice and coherent, IMHO. | |
