In a bit, Robert could visit the Gordons. I'll explain why.

1- Lucas just raised the possibility (a wrong one, granted, but a coherent one) that Lilly might be that way because of what she had just seen: a girl running out of limbs for a while. Robert could feel obliged to conform Lilly's 'story' (she never told it, but Robert couldn't be blamed for assuming she might have) or to explain to the parents 'why' Lilly was so distressed. This would both add conflict and help matters in two different ways: One, it would risk HUGE, maybe irreparable damage to Jenny's secret. Two, it would make Lilly open up to her family on what really happened.

2- Robert had just told Lucas a priest's task is to heal. Adding that to the last bit of info (meaning, now realizing she could help Lilly with the rather pertinent information she now remembered on account of Lucas's prodding) it would make quite a bit of sense for her to go there.

3- That would also inform Gordon himself a few actual details about the lab accident. He would put 2 and 2 together. He might or he might not arrive at minus four (and whether or not he did, he might have the means to find out that there are other forces at work anyways, given his knowledge), but he might well be able to link the lab accident to this child and to Jenny's strand of hair. He might or not tell his family, and that might or not shake things up even more.

4- So, that's basically it; it would be coherent, it would help Lilly, drop a huge bit of info on her parents' laps, and might add some nice bit of conflict, and something else for Jenny to solve.
