I'm... just not sure how often I can say this:

They are not bad people... tell them to keep a secret and I'm sure they will. Leslie was only trying to find a cure to his family. Sure Muriel can sue them, but what exactly would that accomplice? How would she be protecting her daughter? What about Billy? Even if they didn't lose the case, they would still lose money on lawyers and stuff...

Just how would Jenny feel knowing Muriel did that? How would Billy feel knowing Jenny's mother did that to her father, knowing he was trying to help her?

I just don't think Muriel would feel taking such an action is necessary. I'm not saying it can't happen, it's just that things are already so low for the Gordon family. I don't mind making things dark, but I don't want it to get bleak. That was actually why I wanted to give Billy a little responsibility, so she could contribute something positive.
