On Lucas "finding deities"Episode submitted by The_Weirdo on Thu Dec 15 18:24:18 2011 Return to Parent Episode My plan is to have Lucas try and shake things up regarding deities. Her symbology - oddly and by coincidence - fell into place rather nicely, after a fashion. She's an angel (a messenger of God in some ways) and a translator (her work is to break a kind of boundary and to make the transition between two languages. Not hard to expand this to making the transition and breaking the boundary between mortal and divine). Her plan involves being sort of like Hermes, after a fashion - a messenger of the gods and so on. Heck, she could meet the ACTUAL Hermes. There are a few other resemblances to him too (being a trickster, her work focuses on "commerce", and so on). Of course, there are several differences: She's mortal, and her intent is to bring gods and mortals TOGETHER, rather than to simply be a liaison. But still. If you people have any suggestions/restrictions, feel free to mention them. And another interesting find... Hmm... | |
