If the filament were a very strong material for its thickness and could stretch well without breaking, and the object in question had enough momentum to carry it through instead of simply bouncing off (again, as though from a net,) you might get somewhere. But I'm pretty sure there's a reason they don't use egg slicers to destroy battleships, even if I'm not 100% clear on the mathematics of it. Yeah | |
