There's only a conflict between the two if one is invested in being a self-perceived iconoclast, a man against the world, in which case having evidence that you were right all along would mean other people could (horrors!) join you in being right. Either way, though, it's not necessarily going to be that strong evidence - evidence of some other plain of reality, certainly, but as far as Robert knows, Selene might not have talked any more directly to God than she does. Interesting, but hardly conclusive of anything. In any case, I think chompy would be the one to ask about Robert's viewpoint. Well | |
