If there are beings out there that consider themselves gods, it doesn't change his own faith. It might all be part of 'the Plan' in his view anyway. Not a big deal really, and certainly not a conflicted view. He wants to help people now in his own way, and his faith while shaken remains as something he holds on to. Robert is happy to believe in the one God, I don't see how a phone call from a 'god' would change that... His faith makes him interesting. Why change it? Unless it's to say he's wrong, and that's something I really don't feel comfortable going into. Is Selene really going to tell him he's deluded? It's not that important to the story in my view. Though if it does suddenly become important, I'll take it one step at a time, and find some way of it not exploding. No, no, no | |
