Oh, you're quite right that Mrs. Crawford can't be expected to know that - I just wanted to put it up there for the record, is all. You do have a point about Ms. Summers not bringing it up to the school staff, but I would note that she did explain the stakes very specifically to Mr. Saunders, so it's not like she didn't tell anybody what could happen.

(By "didn't get much," I didn't mean that it was of no value, just that she didn't seem to get a full, detailed account of things out of him, unless I missed it. Which is possible, it was kind of late when I read this one.)
