MemoryEpisode submitted by brayn on Mon Jan 23 20:16:04 2012 Return to Parent Episode Ok, there are two things to consider when Zach says he's out of space. 1) RAM on the server (the amount allocated to his account on the transfer.to server) 2) Hard Drive Space Now, personally I dont believe that the site ran out of hard drive space, I think it's much more likely Zach's account exceeded memory usage. The only ways to reduce that are to re-write code to be less memory intensive, OR to switch to a server with more memory. If it is a case of hard drive space, well, yea, the only options here are to just shift to a server with more space or pester the transform.to folks ot increase his allocation. Also | |
