...Episode submitted by Area82 on Sun Oct 23 02:25:42 2011 Return to Parent Episode Ah, I see. Cute poem, nonetheless. When I said 'self-righteous' and 'superior-complex', I didn't exactly mean 'stuck-up' or even something on the line of being a jerk. It was more like 'detachment' somewhat, maybe a weaker scale of the whole 'kill a few to save many' or 'I know best for you' approach. It is...kinda hard to really put into words (and chances are that I'm not exactly wording it well either), it isn't anything really bad about her, per se, but it isn't entirely good either. Nevertheless, she was probably doing this without consciously realising it by my guess, at least not completely. "As far as her intervention with Tiffany, she didn't mention it to the school (arguably she wasn't acting on its behalf,) but she did get permission from Mr. Saunders, who initially requested her help. " > Even if she did get permission from Mr. Saunders, she still have rules, guidelines, and expectations that she would have to follow. While she did have good intention in trying to help Mr. Saunders with his trouble, there probably was better ways to handle that situation (or perhaps a better qualified person). It is kinda like asking a school nurse to perform a heart operation on a dying student, though that may be a little extreme in regard to my point. I am trying to see that whole deal through the school's (as a whole) point of view. Don't worry about it, though. I'll hopefully figure something out that will end finely for everyone, both in and out of the story. Well... | |
