I found Lucas oddly - and symbolically - equipped to do so. She has the raw physical power to deal with dangerous stuff if things go bad and is an agnostic - hence able to deal with changes in beliefs fairly easily (as she has NO belief). The symbology is fairly explained as well. Lucas may find out the "deities" are but changed humans - and she'll make her peace with that easier than - say - Robert might. She might find out that SOME deities are actual deities (or maybe original ones). She might find out the forces BEYOND the deities. My intent is to have Lucas find out some more about cosmology. Map the outside world, so to speak. One proposition... | |
