Trying to figure out what to doEpisode submitted by Greeman on Sun Jul 24 01:44:20 2011 Return to Parent Episode Hi dudes. As you know I was gone due to being busy with stuff combined with writers block for a while. I'm kind of hitting the wall already, and this next week is kind of my last good week of vacation so I'm probably going to be out a lot. Right now, I kind of feel like I don't quite know what to do with Cecilia. I had kind of forgotten that A.I. robot type people couldn't "see" the internet and interact with it like the fairies do. I had kind of intended her to be able to in my conception of her, as an "internet liaison" sort of operative. I don't want to try and retcon any rules or anything, but is there some way to possible work around the problem? It's sort of established that she's not like other robots, so who knows. And my next quibble is totally my fault. I've been trying to establish Cecilia's character (once again hampered by W-block and delays) as a young personality, snide and jokey. She sort of "fell in" to her job as a government agent, which I'll hopefully get into later on. But mainly she's been brought along on the case for her unique skills and expertise with computers (and a certain degree of prophecy as has been hinted at). Hawkins is really the "professional" one. She's someone who counters Hawkins' ever calm demeanor, and would likely get pretty riled up about someone using fairy's as forced labor. She's known to be very good at her job, but at the same time being rather cavalier about it, multitasking i.e working on multiple things a the same time, watching internet videos when no-one's paying attention. I'd like to be able to hammer these kinks out. Be totally honest with me on what you guys think is the best solution. Hmm. hmm | |
